1) FEB, 2022: Heidi shoots one of the the lead characters in the short dramedy, “THE BUTTON SPONGE & THE MAGIC GLASSES”, written & directed by Tom Cavanaugh. Both Heidi & FAB actor, Bob Telford, Co-star in this film about a Father-daughter card con-artist team! (Produced by Tom & the terrific Allyson Sereboff) - This was a memorable shoot because our director, Tom, zoom-directed in from NYC, from a laptop out here in CA.! (due to COVID still affecting the Industry’s shoots). -Heidi said iIt was still a FUN & Amazing shoot! Will post when there are screenings of this film coming up!
2) MARCH 2022: Heidi Voices 2 character’s for the new upcoming NICKELODEON animated series, “ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS”! The characters are written hilariously, written & created by Josh Lehrman & Kyle Stegina! I will definitely keep everyone posted as to when the show, & Heidi’s episode airs!!!
3) MAY 2022: Heidi’s musical short film, “Millicent & Me and The Apple Tree”, WINS for “ Best Comedy Short” by the French Riviera Film Festival!!! Also, our Director, John Beaton HIll gets “Recognition of Excellence in Filmmaking” as part of the Festival Awards!! THE NEWS IS IN!!: France LOVES Millicent!! 🐭❤️😁!!
4) JULY 2022: Heidi’s musical short film, “Millicent & Me and The Apple Tree” is NOM. as a SEMI-FINALIST for “Best Narrative U.S. Short Film” by the San Francisco Arthouse Short Festival!
4) AUGUST 2022: OPENING WEEKEND for the feature film, “HALF DEAD FRED”, in Flint, Michigan! - at the famous Capitol Theatre! - Heidi played the female lead, Roberta Dalton, with FAB actors, Corin Nemec, Jason London, Jordan C. Michael, & many, many more amazing actors in the film! Also, the Dir./writer, Bron Theron wrote an awesome script & was incredibly talented in directing this film!! This Opening Weekend was a HUGE success! NEW INFO. : “HALF DEAD FRED” is now available on Amazon Prime & also on TUBI.
5) AUGUST 2022: As part of the weekend dedicated to the Opening of the feature film, “HALF DEAD FRED”, Heidi, the full Cast, Dir./Writer & Producers of the film sit on a panel, as part of Flint’s “Really Cool Comic Con” show!
6) OCT.. 2022: Heidi, & Alter New Media shoot the beginning videos of Heidi’s newly-expanded TV show, “READ TO ME, HEIDI”. PLSE. This full story follows a newly hatched ugly duckling trying to make it in a cruel and unwelcoming world. 7) OCT. 2022: Heidi attends the screening of feature film, “VooDoo Macbeth”, starring Heidi’s wonderful actress friend, Inger Tudor, who plays lead, Rose McClendon. (that screened at the Laemmle Theare, in Santa Monica, for Opening Wknd.) - The story is set in 1936 Harlem, and the first all-Black cast production of 'Macbeth' struggles to make it to opening night amid the downward spiral of their young and untested director - Orson Welles. Based on the true story of Orson Welles’ life (Here’s the official plot summary, because it’s such a great film:)
“Before Hollywood director Orson Welles ascended to fame as producer, director and star of Citizen Kane (1941), he struggled as an actor and writer for radio. In 1936 at the age of 20, untested and battling addiction, Welles was enlisted by John Houseman, director of the Negro Theatre Unit in New York, to direct the first all-Black cast production of Macbeth on the stage. Houseman, along with co-director Rose McClendon, took a chance on the volatile Welles who convinced them to reimagine the Scottish play as a Haitian production daringly starring an all-Black cast. Performed in Harlem at the Lafayette Theater, the production known as Voodoo Macbeth became a landmark in African-American theatrical history.”

9) NOV. 2022: Heidi goes to the Screening of the feature film, “HALF DEAD FRED” in Las Vegas at the Sin City Horror Fest! where Heidi & Dir./Writer Bron Theron were joined by Heidi’s PR gals & Producing team of her soon-to-be-released TV series, “READ TO ME HEIDI”… & their names are ALTER NEW MEDIA!!
10) NOV. 2022: Heidi WINS AWARD for “BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS” for her role of Roberta Dalton in the supernatural feature film, “HALF DEAD FRED, at the Skiptown Playhouse International Film Festival in Los Angeles!! The film also WON 3 MORE AWARDS: 1) Best Director (U.S.) for the awesome director, Bron Theron; 2) Best Picture (U. S.) for the film & the Producers., & 3) Best Cinematography for the FAB DP, Zachary Malloy!!
