3) MARCH 2025 - Heidi’s film, “Millicent & Me and The Apple Tree” has WON the award: “Best Indie Spirit Award” at the “Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema”!
We also arrived to a world of a “Winter Wonderland” amidst all of the snow on the Jeffrey & Ponderosa pines & cedar trees, all covered in massive snow… Definitely a Gorgeous setting for a film festival!
We’d like to thank the film festival’s director, Stephen Savage, for such a wonderful experience, and to all of his Team at the festival, that were so helpful, knowledgeable, and so kind! We are very Grateful for being included in the line-up of such awesome films from all over the world!
Heidi was also NOM. for “Best Actress Short Film”, & Dir./DP John Beaton Hill was NOM. for “Best Cinematography” as well! An all-around Terrific Film Festival, in meeting guests, mentors; seeing fab films, & hanging & making new filmmaker friends from the networking events throughout the week!
